Marshfield Fastpitch Softball Association (MFP) is non-profit organization that was started in 2011. We offer competitive travel team play and year-round instruction. Teams range from 8U to 18U and consist of female athletes from central Wisconsin and headquartered in Marshfield, WI.
We are not a feeder program for any school. We specialize in player physical and mental development with the hopes of making a big impact on their High School team and maybe play at the collegiate level. Throughout the summer, travel teams compete in regional tournaments in Wisconsin, surrounding states and some nationally. During the winter, practices, lessons, & clinics are held at our indoor facility.
Teams are divided by the players age as of the 1st of the year. Tryouts are conducted the 2nd week in August at our outdoor fields in Marshfield. Details can be found on our tryouts page. Tournaments are generally held in June and July with some in the fall and 1 or 2 in the winter. Schedules will vary from team to team and will be posted on the website as they are formed.
Are looking to participate in a sport that requires skill, strength, strategic thinking and the desire to play as part of a team? Whatever level you play at, softball can enhance your health, strength and coordination.
Whether you are looking to causally play in our recreational league or competitively play on one of our traveling teams, you'll find our organization to be a great place to learn new skills and meet new friends.

Marshfield Fastpitch is offering free lessons to their players. These lessons are only possible because of the great partnerships with former high school and college players and successful fundraising campaigns by our club. The lessons are limited to only 6 players and limited to when the instructors are back home for the Holidays. Because space and time are limited, we asked that you be respectful of others and not sign your child up for every lesson. Lessons are split into Pitching, Catching and Hitting and between the younger ages (8u-10u) and older players (12u, 14u & 16u). Click on their name to get more detail and register. If you should have any questions, please fee to reach out to Justin Casperson, President at 715-305-2399.
